Don't attack others. Personal attacks on others will not be tolerated. Challenge others' points of view and opinions, but do so respectfully and thoughtfully ... without insult and personal attack.

There were so many times I could have (and struggled not to) bring out plain old insults, but I pushed onward, hoping the sparks that were my words would enkindle some small flame of thought in the ashes, twigs, and small bits of flammable paper that are in this analogy Burning thought's mind, so that I could build it up with care into a roaring campfire of rationality!

But alas, the firepit was too old, and damp from morning dew. I am saddened, but hopeful that my next camping trip may be a successful one.

You are less obvious in your posts than I am, that is true. But thinly veiled insults, are still insults.

Comparing them to deaf immobile objects and making a condescending remark such as "bouncing his tennis balls of intelligence"(Which implies that is something they lack, i.e. just a veiled attempt at calling them stupid) off of their "lead-like minds" are both insults.

Perhaps not, but as I pointed out earlier, for some reason everyone in this thread has a giant boner about being a genius and enjoyes to belittle their "opponents" intelligence, which is personal. Just cause you say "You're stupid" in an eloquent way, doesn't make it less of an attack, though I don't really think that it is such a bad thing really, lets you blow off steam and makes the argument more heated, very entertaining. Also, it's enjoyable to see the different ways people come up with to call someone else idiot.

Because if you've got an issue you should take it up via PM. And you should especially not argue it if you're told to not do something in a thread by a mod. Doing that is a bannable offense and yes, that is in the forum rules. You know all of this already. Everyone does. Or at the least, everyone should.

Don't bother PMing me right now, though, I'm busy and trying to do other things which you guys are making very difficult and simply are succeeding in severely aggravating me.

There recently was added that rule, you can read it on the rules site.

You can discuss it in PMs, with the Mod for example, if you have a problem.
