that really does sum up the series. It made my vain in my forehead when superman used his heat beams on captain atom in public enemies and he was practically rendered useless against it.

The bio in the newest Countdown says that the black diamond that imprisoned Eclipso was mined on Apokolips. I figured that's what Darkseid was referring to and not that he was responsible for actually creating Eclipso himself.
