Errrr? Batman never defeated KK. Plus as noted KK didn't have his fully memories he thought he was Trident at the time. KK was defeated when Black Lightening attacked him from behind, not Batman physically doing it. Even later Batman admits KK outfought him [Countdown]

For all we know, it could have been like the events from that Marvel Adventure story way back when when Thanos had the cosmic cube and battled Hellcat and Spider-Man. His own power and ego was his own downfall and got defeated by his own power, we have no idea if SQ beat him with her own power or whatever.
