I'm still confused as to how Adam posses Isis power when she's clearly alive. That and he clearly states in JSA #16 that Mary gave back HIS power.

One of the reasons I like WW is similiar to why I like Namor, they both buck the trend of REALLY strong characters being brawlers. You have guys like Supes and Hulk who sure can slug it out with ya, but WW can karate kick your head off your shoulders.

I think it also has something to do with her just not being a very interesting or consistent character much of the time.

WW has managed to have seven decades of continuous(?) solo print history without producing any real classic stories (sure, the Perez run was decent, along with some others over the years - but they weren't great stories), any particularly consistent vision of the character, supporting cast, location, and backstory, or any classic villains (quite the opposite in fact). That is really quite an achievement when you think about it, and I believe unmatched in comic history. Most of her solo history has frankly been awful and a waste of innocent trees.

Chronus's quest on obtaining the Godwave was pretty enjoyable. As was the story with Ares overthrowing Hades.

I don't entirely agree with that, particularly the part about supporting characters and classic villains. Can you get anymore classic than Ares or Circe? I am extremely biased on this subject because I was a huge fan of Greek mythology before I ever heard of Wonder Woman. I think the reason the books have lasted so long is because they appeal to a particular set of fans. I don't think that many of the stories necessarily appearl to the general lover of comic books. She doesn't follow the *typical* mold of most superheroes, and I like that. I think she is very interesting.

I DO agree that there have been so many changes to her over the years that it is confusing.
