I believe her lasso is telekinteically controlled, which means it doesn't deliver the same effect as actually throwing it like a normal person would, but goes where Diana wants it to go.
But, Superman definitely wouldn't stand there and let her lasso him. However, Superman is superior to her physically except in the skill department. Like UniOmni said, it would take one of Superman's best punch to put her down. Hell, he punched her 94 million miles across the solar system. However, another advantage I see Superman has is the fact that his long range attacks are instantaneous while Diana's persist of taking them out and actually using them. Superman would utilize all his advantages in their battle (if full potential) and I think if they were both at full potential, it would be a close match but Superman would be the victor in the end. Supes 7/10.
Her weapons and immense fighting skills give an edge on people like BA, CP and especially Superman. The weird thing to me is how people see Thor beating Superman because of his godly gifts but, WW not even coming close with hers. To be completely honest
