Oh, the old discussion's returned...

I put my money on Samus Aran. Her suit is superior in durability, not to mention her ability to use the scans. Master Chief might have a few shots in that Fuel Rod Cannon, but Samus has quite a few more shots in her missile launcher. She doesn't have to worry about reloading her primary blaster guns, which in such a situation, that would count a great deal...

It has been a while since I played Metroid Prime, but didn't her different weapons have different handicaps? Like the icea beam was reallý fíng slow and the plasma beam took a while to charge, or overload?

I really should've played Echoes, but meh. I just had to become a H2 multi-crack addict.

Uhm, in prime, every beam had it's pro's anc con's.

Power Beam: Regular strength, pretty fast.

Wave Beam: Really fast, worse damage (I think)

Ice Beam: Pretty damn slow, but can freeze enemies, which, you can shatter with a missile, making you win.

Plasma Beam: Massive damage, but really damn slow. (I think, Not sure)

As for which character is better, they're pretty well matched, but I see Samus winning. She's killed more things. Including space pirates, which are stronger than Elites. I think.
