True racism works best with power or influence backing it. Why do you think a black person can get away with saying cracker, even on air, in front of Whites, and nothing happens. Yet when Whites do it, it's a big deal. That's when the rationalization of the double standard comes in. Which is dumb in this case.
A black dude saying "cracker", may seem racist but even if he's serious, it does not have the same effect as a White guy calling a black guy the "N" word. Even if he's joking.
That's just how it is. There's the legacy of centuries African American slavery and segregation behind the "N" word, especially when a White person says it, whilst there's nothing or no history behind the word "cracker"

But others would say that racism, in its purest sense, doesn’t come from the hatred of people with White skin color, it comes from racial supremacy. See, historically, “real” racism was/is practiced by any Whites racist and it’s real because it’s based on White Supremacy. And Furguson those poor souls killed not to enhance Black supremacy but to kill them for an oppressive feeling he had with Whites. That or he just had it.
