Who is the most powerful creature in middle earth in the third age?

Started by sauron14 pages

but why fight him when you KNOW you cant win?

because it would make a good tragic story 😛 lol a warrior who has killed many deamons in another dimension (doom lol) is slain in his vane efforts to try and defeat one of the most powerful beings of the third age of Middle-Earth.

Wow..This thread grew so fast...😛

Actually in Lorien, either Galadriel, Celeborn or Aragorn says of the Balrog, "there is no greater evil save the one who dwells in the Dark Tower."

that would be sauron wouldnt he... and wiki is saurons direct vicegerent...

.................and, yes, the balrog may be a little higher in original ranks and perhaps stronger, but definitely less mighty than witchy.

if the balrog hit wiki he would just be f*cked....one because he would go into shadow world...and shadow in shadow wouldnt work to well

or two: wiki would just say kill him...and everyone would!

lol sauron

because if wiki says kill him, and an orc says no, wikis VEWWWY high up there in mordor politics, and if he doesnt just kill the orc right away...hes going to make life very very very hard for him!

lol 🙂

I think Witchy could defeat (not kill) the Balrog far easier than the other way round... even if the balrog might have a stronger body, but Wiki has the ring and his dread and terror 😛

The orcs would run like helpless sheep when they saw the balrog(Remember Moria) so the witch king would have to deal with the balrog all by himself, and he woulind succed, only Sauron could best the balrog out of all the evil forces

wiki would KILL the balrog

orcs would rather go to their death at the hands of a balrog than disobey the witchking

how do you know that???

wikis description

'orcs would slay themselves at his bidding'

riiiiiiiiiiiiight

look lord andres just accept the fact he knows more and he is right about it!

I think Merry killed him with the Barrow blade. Really the kudos goes to whoever forged the blade.

It wasn't Merry who killed the Witch King. The Westernesse blade broke the spell that bound Wiki's unseen sinew, but a stab in the knee would not be deadly. It was the stab in the head by Eowyn that finally did in the Witch King, after he had been weakened by the spell-breaking blow.

What I'm saying is, it was a combined effort. The blade used by Merry wouldn't have killed Murazor, but Eowyn wouldn't have been able to give her final blow as well if not for Merry.

But if we will look in a "very" technical way, Eowyn was the one who killed him. 🙂

Yes, beaten by two mortals. How sad, may my Lord rest in peace. 🙁

*ding dong the WItchys dead*

sory...eowen and merry should have weded...goten maried...i was sure they were going to...

The only real most powerful thing in Middleearth is Time 😂 time survives all wars and ruins everything else - fascinating ✅ ... so the most powerful "creatures" would be the Lords of Time from the Lost Tales ^^

while they are lords of time they do not govern it 🙂
