That's actually my thinking as well. Initially I thought Cap would destroy Potter, but after watching a few of the films, and reading over some recaps of the novels, apparently Harry isn't the pushover I thought he was, and .5 km is plenty of room for him to operate.

However, there is still the issue of tagging Cap with an attack, and apparently most of the spells in the Potter verse are directional attacks, so Cap could likely close the distance.

things change. 😉

Would Cap's shield be able to block some of Harry's spells? I think that would be entirely useful if he were to close the gap, as yes, it seems all the magic in Harry Potter is pretty much aimed.

I'm not entirely sure. I don't know whether the vibranium/adamantium mesh has any anti-magic properties. I know of another metal 'adamantite' (D&D) that does, but I don't think adamantium is related to it.

(Age-Line Spell)
Description: Creates a line that is impassable by people below a set age.

He can make a circle I guess around his body that will prevent Cap going H2H.

Sure harry can go on defence right away but his offence it the issue. he needs to aim for most of his spells. I am looking around for non aimed spells.

Ah good call.

Harry Potter.

I mean, would Cap really beat up an innocent school boy?

Cap is against bullying, so beating up Harry would be a violation of his moral code.

Hmm...

I never thought about the moral angle. Good point.

While Cap is giving his speech, Harry puts the babbling spell on him.

That's kind of sad but Harry Potter would beat Cap. I mean, what's Cap gonna do? Simple protego spell to prevent any Cap's attack and then imperius and he could make Cap act like a schoolgirl...

Has Cap ever had to defend himself with it from a magical attack aside from the theoretical battle-to-the-death we're discussing now?

Doom?

Cap blocked magical attacks from Doom?

Dunno but i think thats the closest person he could have fought with magic.
