Goku as a child was moving so fast that he created 8 after images of himself that was doing different things.

I can find it but its irrelevant in this fight because thanos could do the same thing (even though goku did it on a planet that gravity could be 100 times or more. So he could have been moving like 80 mountains with that kind of gravity).
Do you want to know the sad thing. When vegeta and goku was fighting (as super saiyan 2), the wave of there hands was destroying mountains. When frieza and goku was fighting the wave of there hands was destroying mountains. Goku during the dragonball era move a mountain looking for the banshoo fan. Goku while inside of a mountain punched a tank and it busted out of the side of a mountain going 80 more feet across the desert. Gohun created a earth quake while moving his feat up and down worried about videl. Gohun (as great saya man) carried one of the largest planes in the world with one hand when it was about to crash. But i will try to find that clip for ya.

Hey cresh maybe you should watch this and perhaps the whole Cell fight before trying to belittle the speed of the DBZ characters.
At the 7:40 mark Cell shoots a rapid fire attack. They go right through Gohan. Either Gohan is capable of intrasigence or Gohan is very ****ing fast. Assuming that it is the latter, Gohan has to be able to distort his body at extremely ridiculous speeds to make his body appeared as if it didn't move because of they way the rapid fire attack beams were fired.

Right after 3:38 mark Goku attacks Cell at literally lightning speed. Lightning travels 100,000 miles per second. Light travels at about 186,000 miles per second. That is much greater than 1% lightspeed. Do the math.

I'm assuming we're talking about the anime since I don't think many have read the manga. I've read up to the Vegeta saga then my local Barnes and Noble stopped ordering them.
Well, the manga is pretty popular for a manga, just not *as* big as the anime. The manga is the original creation, and I really haven't seen the anime so I won't comment on that.
But you should still read the Manga. Anyone who enjoyed the anime would love the manga. In the manga, they don't waste time, fights are better drawn, it's more consistent, and always full of action.
Based off what I've heard, it goes like this:
Anime Super Buu >> Thanos >>> Manga Super Buu.
Seriously, in the manga the first person to destroy a planet is First Form Freeza by vaping the core, and Kid Buu later. In the anime, I hear they destroy galaxies.

I live in Utah, and comparitively those are a bit small to be considered a mountain.
