Versus Forum Rules ?

all we're asking here is that you all give this a chance, and see if it can work. if it fails, it fails, and things go back to what they were... but if it succeeds, then that's something altogether different isn't it?

the subforum idea was considered and may at some point in the future be implemented, but for now it's just that, an idea...

you're out of line mister.

i am going to make one thing clear. i have sat and read every single post in every single thread made on this subject. i have talked to several people about this, and have done my best to reassure them. for now, the rules stay. if you don't like it, you are more than welcome to air your grievances, but do it PROPERLY.

First off I would like to point out that I personally have nothing against the mods. In fact I admire Ild and always have. However that doesn't make the rules any less horrible.

The 95% is almost right on target. How many vets have you seen applaud the new rules? A little more than 4x the poster agree the rules suck.

I'm trying to keep an opened mind, but I've experienced these "new rules" before. This "new system" has been attempted, and it has failed just as this will. Have you never wondered why CBR is such a hell hole?

Actually, I went back and read most of this. I don't mind the original intent, but we have some rampant mod-bashing going on, which I won't allow in my forums. If anyone needs the justification for my closing this, it can be found in the last few pages, both where pr has tried to diffuse the situation and been largely unsuccessful and where people resort to mindless bashing and swearing against the policies without properly addressing legitimate concerns.

It's pretty clear this is a hot-button issue right now, so I'd ask people to respectfully address the mods via PM if these things concern you. That is the only way it seems like productive discourse will happen. Making a public forum about it leads to bashing, and I can see very little productive material anywhere in this thread other than mutual whining.
