They all take it with little to no problem. The Hulk would have to heal a bit, but everyone survives.

I think he gets to Surfer, possibly Superboy Prime, since Surfer had problem absorbing the energies of a star, that Kamehame-ha was said to be able to destroy a solar system, so it must contain more energy than a star.

Nah. He doesn't have anything against Superman.

He just wrote Superman as a character much weaker than he is now. He even needed oxygen masks to survive in space for a long period of time.

He rebooted Superman right after COIE and didn't want Supes to be anywhere near as powerful as Pre-Crisis Superman was.
