Pretty much. I always viewed Q as Picard/Star Trek's version of Mr. Mxyzptlk. He plays a very similar role, though his motives are completely different.

I'm not so sure of that. I don't see an alternate version of Zatanna and SBP punking Q.

Actually he couldn't have done that if Primus hadn't trapped him in a sun.

I said Unicron for transcendant because despite skyfather level destructive feats, high herald beings could destroy is body. Even within the comics transformers could damage Unicron's body.

Also current Unicron is low herald at most. He destroyed a planet with his awakening then got owned by Omega prime.
