I said earlier that "I may", so nothing is set in stone. It's a wait and see situation now. If people can stop acting like children, keep the threads on topic, decrease the trolling and flaming, I have no trouble keeping things as is. But whatever is to be done will be discussed.

People simply need to grow up and stop taking these discussions of [b]fiction so personally. It degrades to a point of extremist religious zealotry. Any opposing opinion is seen in the same vein as a satirical comic of Muhammad. If you don't agree with something, either state your piece and keep it moving, or do what I do all the time: stay out of the discussion. People seem to get so caught up in trying to get the final word and shout down the opposition that nothing constructive gets said. The original intent of this exercise was to broaden peoples horizons to characters they may not normally be familiar with and give people more options for the hypothetical debates, not to expand the list of characters for people to say "My favorite character's dick is bigger than ______. Very true statements as well... honestly Bada, I think what you have done and been doing (keeping everything organized in this thread and advising people of warnings) is helping but its the name calling-etc that is getting to a lot of people. When people disagree with someone else opinion then people tend to bashing and again, what you have been doing has been helping.
I think if you just check up on the thread every now and then, that would help. If you see something wrong, point it out because even though there are people that bash a lot of other posters here, there are some that are civilized.
If you look back though, its not just DBZ characters that is bringing in a lot of arguments, previously people were bashing Black Bolt for giving his opinion on Star Wars characters. I honestly think that no matter what you do (besides banning), people are going to clash, argue, and down talk people regardless. If you take away DBZ characters, then it will be another character to take their place.
Well here's a simple solution: how about the few people stop being so fucking annoying, regardless of the fandom, and accept it when nobody believes whatever the hell they're spouting over and over and over and over and over and over and over and just let it go, instead of filling the thread with spasgasmspam. 🙂
