Why? Is it because he's a legit nigh-omnipotent being capable of annihilating multiverses with a sneeze?

Lol...don't push your luck sweetie

I'm just messing. But seriously, where would you guys place Goku at? In DBO they made him perform a supernova along with Vegeta during their final battle.

U should discuss a different character but to answer u...mid herald

High end LH or low/mid MH.

Overall.

Oh, then it's like I said. It varies from series to series. Typically, the manga wins out since they usually come first.

Im referencing bleach. Unless the anime follows the source material to the t (manga in this instance) then it is not considered canon. The scene in question is when Ichigo was attacked by Byakuyas "thousand sword" attack. And ichigo manages to block it initially but eventually succumbs and only survives due to his hollow.

IMO and most others who follow anime/manga. As soon as something strays from the original then it cannot be considered canon.it's not too difficult a concept to grasp

I don't follow Bleach, so I don't know. I was under the impression that the manga is the source material, so I'm inclined to agree with you.

I agree. I'm just saying that sometimes the anime is the source material. Some series literally started with an anime, then a manga adaptation came later. The anime is usually the "true" canon in those instances.

I'm not saying you disagree with that, just clearing up my post a bit.

Edit: As for the whole, "secondary sources are canon if they don't contradict the source material", I don't know. We'd need to get a general consensus or a mod ruling. It'd be lame to spend threads arguing more about canonicity than the actual match.

Now you're learning.

Sigh* with that said, please talk about him all you want Merchant.

@Style...

If people actually read the manga AND the Anime, they would know what to use and what not to use in the Anime when debating.

Uuuummm, he agreed with me. He just doesn't know which one is usable for Bleach even though BOTH are usable, as long as you use a canon material from the Anime vs the Manga.

You insinuated that those disagreeing with u didn't/haven't read/seen the manga and anime.

Not just me...disagreeing with it entirely is just...well....WRONG.

Anything done in the anime that wasnt done in the manga isn't Canon.
How does it feel to **** yourself in the ass like this?

That line of dialogue wasn't in the manga, which does, in fact, mean it isn't canon.

The name of the sword is Thousand Cherry Blossoms. Thousand. Not hundreds of millions. Thousand.

Also, to show how weak Ichigo is:

Ichigo's slash levels a large hill and surrounding smaller hills. I should note this is Ichigo at his absolute most powerful, amped far beyond his standard levels, equivelant to a sundipped Superman, or Chaos War Hercules, etc. So not really representative of his standard strength.

That isn't shit to someone who fights with Superman or contributed to pulling Earth.

I will be waiting for those fts Heralds busting mountains while punching each other and that wasn't ichigo at his most powerful. He had another form after that.

He had a specific attack he could do that is only small city busting, not an entirely separate form. Also using it makes him lose his powers.

Oh and Superman has destroyed moons physically.

Oh, and those were hills.

Superman left a crater in the moon when he punched Black Racer.

That > busting a mountain.

Carter.

Its fact that carver isn't knowledgeable about comic characters so his opinion on them is faulty 😬. Ichigo at his most powerful is still below Superman physically.

Ichigo (and everyone else in Bleach for that matter) are below Ben Grimm physically... by a lot.
