Most cars are useless lining up against the latest generation Vette. Let alone a 4 door, 4 cylinder car which cost under $30K even with the mods.

Sure, certain high end sports and performance cars, or exotic cars, will run with a Vette. But you're talking cars that cost close to $60K and up. Mercedes AMGs, BMW Ms, Cadillac Vs, high performance models of Camaros, Challengers and Mustangs, Porsches, Ferraris, Lamborghinis, Vipers, other Vettes and GTRs. So I really don't see your point.

I could put more money into my Civic and have it running at 500HP just to beat a Vette. But there goes my daily driving car. Everything I'm adding is bolt on mods. No engine rebuilding, boring, porting, race cams, etc.

The truck is actually a project car that helps me take my mind off killing my sisters dates. Actually man I have to be fair with her. It wasn't easy when I told her we were moving from Miami because of my promotion at work. She lost all her friends and she's been through enough lost in her lifetime already.
