Sinister was pretty cool back in the Inferno saga, but since then he has been really wasted in comics. In the '90's, he appeared in an issue or two, fights some X-Men and talks about some evil and mysterious plan (that never comes to fruition) or confronts Cable and babbles about how Apocalypse is awake and will destroy everything "Cable... do your thing already!".
It's a pity we never got Chris Claremont's origin for Sinister.
