I've known about Dawkins for some time. Although the only book of his i've read is 'The God Delusion', and i didn't read it all, about half to be exact, mostly because i started reading something else and never went back to it.
But i only knew about Hitchens since yesterday. This morning i spent about 4 hours watching online forums and debates involving Hitchens. He's smart and he's sure done his homework!
I looked into the 'Expelled' documentary, and decided i won't even bother watching it, mostly because of a reviews i read splitting it into 3 parts, the first was much the same as yours, describing it as a good documentary and winding up as a source of preaching for pro 'intelligent design', and against 'evolution by natural selection'.
I even read that they blatantly accused Darwinism as being the source of the holocaust.
As an agnostic leaning towards atheism, i think i'm going to leave this alone.
