Pretyy much like every other stong bad guy in the show. Freeza said he was the most powerful, and was beaten. Butta said he was the fastest, and was beaten. Vegeta said he was the best, and was defeated. Raditz said he was going to kill people.. and was defeated

It seems like all the bad guys are bumbling arrogant idiots who make claims that they don't keep. That's a staple of the entire show. If you knew anyhting about DBZ the anime or the manga you'd know that.

gohan who was stronger than cell at the time DIDNT. he could, but he chose to concentrate his energy on defeating cell. consider, a planet destroying BLAST cant take down thanos yet a cosmic ray from galactus which does NUTHING to the enviornment CAN?

its just the TYPE of attack used. cell cud definately destroy the solar system. he would kill superman.

Seems like in continued fine after the earth was destroyed... Fine after the moon was destroyed. Who cares about the other planets in the solar system? They don't have life or anything on them.

The only important planet was earth.. but the manga continued after it was destroyed.

And you really don't think that Cell's arrogance would allow him to make claims he couldn't keep? I mean Cell;'s a villian so he had arrogance, then he absorbed some of vegeta so got more arrogance.

So Cell is the only one in the series that edespite being arrogant didn't make the same mistakes as the other villians?

Earth was destroyed because people on earth were laready dead. They also had a nother Dimension to fight at! The moon was never important.

Silver Surfer gets knocked out for having the power cosmic and being the strongest herald of Galactus! 🙄

Because surfer has been written by multiple writers over the years, and inconsistencies are bound to happen. Dragonball is written by one guy, and that makes it easier to maintain.

By people stronger than him. I don't recall SS stating that he's the best in the universe. Vegeta did, and since it isn't comic world it must be the author doing the talking. Just like with Cell.
