It's pretty funny how often we hear things like "The rest of the internet is laughing at you!" while never seeing any evidence of the sort. Even when the shit-storm of DBZ threads flooded the front page, this site remained the best versus forum on the web, kicking the shit out of Herochat and CBR. There aren't really many choices for vs forums, but this site will likely remain the top dog - I don't really see that changing any time soon.

A rabid fanboy is a rabid fanboy, be it Storm fanboy, Kain fanboy or Vegeta fanboy.
Rabid fanboys is what people laugh at, not forum itself.
Though me and Avalonofthewind, for example, invented an interesting vs combination the day before rules changed again based on one calculation which was a side effect of DBZ vs Supes thread (but had nothing to do neither with DBZ nor with Supes)...and which was going on low\mid-meta level...
But anyway, those "K' vs Spiderman" (thing me and Avalonofthewind didn't manage to try) or "Dante vs Darkness" stuff are things Comics vs forum can easily live without...and I shouldn't be that egoistic fan.
Actually that forum considered a nice place comparing to Newsarama. Uncanny X-Men forum is quite limited by Marvel characters discussion, though it gives nice scientific explanations of characters' powersets.
And what's fact is that KMC has one of the best if not the best RT sections around. For example, Green Lanterns RT is pretty useful at demates on other forums.
