how would he be more powerful than b4.....if he's dead???

I know hes an Eternal mutant, but AFAIK his last power upgrade was given to him by Death, not due to anything else......

First off, every time he is resurrected he comes back a little stronger. Secondly he was seen walking around with Death. For the purposes of this battle however he will be at the same power level that he was during the Annihilation saga.

If you really fail to see how dying can upgrade Thanos, you don't know much about his character. He has had a love affair with Death for some time now, and she has brought him back to life only to achieve certain things she wanted done. It was Death herself that gave him his last upgrade in power.

I know all about his devotion/worhip of Death, since he *was* a nihilist, but as I said just becuz he dies is no guarantee that will happen to him every time since (IIRC) his 1st death was at the hands of AW and this most recent death was by Drax.

Im not aware of him dying any other times, so I dont think we can establish "each time he dies he gets stronger" just yet. however, if im wrong then plz excuse me.

So let me get this straight. He has died twice, and each time he has died, has come back stronger. He has not died any other times.

Let's look at the precedent established, one by one.

First death: got stronger.
Second death: got stronger.

So what was your point again?

Is kutulu supposed to be a crappy spelling of "Cthulhu"?

Yo.

correct me if Im wrong but the 1st time he died was when he got turned to stone by Warlock right??

so when he comes back he's insanely powerful and that leads us directly to _IG_......but then hes killed again recently, and has he come back??

by my reckoning hes only come back from the dead ONCE. if Im wrong then plz share the info where Im off.

After the events of "Marvel: The End" there is some evidence to suggest that Thanos used the last dregs of his omnipotence to further augment and hone his powers. He openly admitted to Warlock that he did indeed grant himself some "life-assuring wishes", including the restoration of his shattered armada of powerful starships. The greatest evidence for his boosted power can be found in issue #5 of his own series, when he unleashes a blast of energy capable of knocking Galactus through the hull of the World-Devourer's starship and several-hundred meters through the air beyond. Though the blast didn't actually harm Galactus, it was an impressive feat nonetheless. Later on in his own series he also defeats the mortal-incarnation of The Beyonder, and goes on to defeat the first herald of Galactus, a being known only as the Fallen One.

So technically he was not resurrected by death the second time, but still showed evidence of being stronger than before he possessed the HoTI.

We all know the history of Thanos, but those feats aren't particularly impressive. Thanos didn't even knock out Fallen one himself. Nor did he beat the female beyonder in a REAL fight, he simply used his telepathy on her.

Yo.

question: between "The End" and his next appearance......are we given anything that tells us he died when he straightend up Reality, as opposed to simply removing himself from the universe to do *watever*??

so defeating a badass with telepathy is something to be embarrassed of.

come on it was the beyonder.
