I know when someone is making a racist joke, that doesn't mean I have to be offended. Some jokes are funny and some are lame, it's really up to your wit and how you carry the joke. If you are seriously joking about it, it applies the same way, it can be lame or funny, even if you are serious, some jokes do have elements of truth and others don't, but wit makes any joke worth the bandwidth.

i should add that this is my interpretation of "jokes", everyone handles jokes differently, some look at it in more of a logical or artistic lens, and others look at it for intent or motive, so just like with all things in life, some of us are more square then circle, we all have varying degrees of what is offensive and how we handle these offensives. So, please, don't read this as a way of judging how others should handle racist or crude jokes, everyone is different in how they take things.

Yeah, I interpret that as saying that bats are a slave or pet to entertain you, but mencing if you see them out of place, meaning too much around.
