Along the same lines: Why didn't Molecule Man's blast against Beyonder that would destroy several million dimensions not destroy his NYC apt? Because it's concentrated into one spot. Same thing here.

Reed Richards has been wrong plenty of times just because you are a genius doesn't make you always right plus more than just him thinks it's a stalemate.
