nikkolas, devil jin is not like Devil kazuya. devil jin doesn't have control over his powers so he more of a insane version of Jin (seen his victory laugh?).
this is just like Iori and Riot Iori where Iori becomes "weaker" as far as a fighter goes since he only does outright attacks and loses his refinement as a fighter....this is why he was pushed back by "ho"rang. but don't forget that regular Jin did beat horang in Tekken3.

Am I the only one that remembers to state that Hwoarang kicking Jin's face all around was non-canon?
I'd like to point out that we don't know for a fact that Jin EVER beat Hwoarang at all, this is just one possibility of the story mode. It could happen either way cause when Hwoarang beats Jin, Jin still goes after Jinpachi. So the fact that Jin beat Jinpachi doesn't mean he also beat rang. Also Kazuya in his storymode fights Heihachi before he gets to Jinpachi, and we all know that Heihachi didn't participate in the tournament at all. So all these storymode cutscenes do not have to be canon. I personally believe that Baek made Hwoarang leave the tournament before he got to Jin.
As for the tekken 6 video, doesn't matter if it's canon or not. It's not like Hwoarang kicked Devil Jin's butt, he simply held him back.
Despite the fact he never canonically used it on anyone and there's no proof he could perform it in a way that won't kill him too? It's dangerous to the user as well from what I hear and Ryu is not the master of the Murderous Intent like Akuma.
I really have doubts Ryu could perform the move effectively.

When you put Evil Ryu in a thread, it should be the "what if" Evil Ryu that appears in the game and that Ryu can do the SGS and is on similar levels to the island sinking Akuma.
Evil Ryu wins.
