its actually a decent tactic... a ball of adamantium hurled with the force and accuracy colossus is capable of would hurt anyone...

While it is true that it is a decent tactic, there is simply not enough force to decapitate Hulk with Colossus throwing. It might be good for taking down Sentinels and what-not, but against the Hulk with his current state of durability and healing factor, it's not going to do much.
Superman tossing Wolverine at Hulk... now that's a different story 😛

In those scans she was aiming for specific parts of his head.
The blast with HT hit him more or less in the back of the neck.
That scan displayed them trying to stop hom with brute force and not finesse.
