You don't understand - Hulk's internals grow stronger as well, on top of his healing factor. That's why Vision got trapped inside of Hulk once he got mad enough in the past, his flesh literally becomes more dense, that's why Vision was unable to phase back out. Even his eyes become more resistant. If you check the Hulk respect thread, there is a scan of him having arrows shot directly into his eyes and they shatter. The only reason Wolverine was still able to gouge out his eyes is that he had adamantium claws.
To top it off Storm blasted Hulk full strength with lightning and it didn't even phase him in the least. His resistance to energy grows along with his durability. That is why he can literally rip apart an energy field with his hands, something that is normally incorporal.
