Dragonball movie on the chopping block?
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Dragonball is on the edge of being canceled. Sources say that the decision to cancel came down from the heads up at Fox after James Wong called Fox saying they would need more time and more money. Fox not wanting to spend anymore money on the project. Sources close to the crew have state that the movie has already gone over budget.
There is another report saying that James Wong and others inside Fox are going to have a meetings later this week to discuss the future of the project. Some sources are saying that Fox has been ready to pull the plug since last month, when they change the release date from 2008 to 2009.
Other reports are saying that Fox has little confidence in the franchise making them money. Some stating that Dragonball is nothing more then a "silly 80s cartoon" and will not be very successful on the big screen. Some would say that Fox jump the gun green lighting the project after the world wide success of "Transformers", stating that Transformers was a risky bet and that Dragonball is an unrealistic one and will likely cost the studio millions with little return.

well, we're still getting live action Akira, if there were ever an anime fans dream. It would most certainly include having a live action Akira. Decaprio is starring in and producing the film. Anything he touches turns to gold, so..,there is hope for you monkey's whom are masturbating over a live action VAMP D and NINJA SCROLL movie's.
