when have they fought before?

Punisher who is basically a LESSER version of Deathstroke without enhancements has beaten Wolverine on a regular basis.

And Slade cant ?

Slade IS faster.
Here, it's commented that Slade moves as fast as the speed of thought.

Wolverine DIDN'T k.o Deathstroke, in fact Slade says his superior speed and reflexed were what kept him unharmed. Logan DID sneak attack him. And, Slade said he underestimated him.
This scan also shows Slade's fear blast. It induces massive fear into the victim.

The only person who is k.o'd in the Slade/Wolvie fight was Wolverine. By the hands of Slade. One blast did it.

Later on, Logan mentions Slade superior speed.

He isn't seen after that for like 5 pages. Slade k.o'd him with one blast.

Slade also was shown to be much faster. The speed of thought.

And Slade never was k.o'd by wolverine's sneak attack.

He also says that lucky for him Wolverine didn't check to see if he had finished Slade. It's implied that Wolverine could have done much more damage if he hadn't stopped attacking him.

Actually the implication was that Slade was playing possum. After if he wasn't unconcious that means he was concious.

godking not true actauly punisher beat wolverine once and he dident even truly beat him he was able to like hold him off. also it took an insane amount of plot devices for punisher just to hold wolverine off. u relay need to read up on ur wolverine vs punisher because most of the time punisher just runs away. last time he tried to fight wolverine. wolverine just did not try in the least and punisher end up onthe ground unable to get up and beat to a pulp.
