Again, travel speed has nothing to do with combat speed/reflexes.

Souja - firestorm's blasts travel at lightspeed. Superman was no where near him, but managed to move close to Firestorm, AND put his hand out to block the blast.

And to carver - no, I don't agree. Check the Budokai in the Buu saga. Someone compared one of the ki blasts to a rocket. They obviously don't travel at the speed of light....
