That would be too easy and we wouldn't have as much to look forward to in future episodes.

For the show's sake, I'm glad that he's still alive.

I want more fights like the one we saw last night with him and Peter but with much more.

If he's dead we won't be able to have such an incident occur now would we?

The show is about people with powers. People with powers = unlimited ways and potential to bring countless villains into the fold. Linderman anyone?

But yea, just as much as I hate Sylar, I love him. The show would be stupid to loose such an interesting villain without a damn good excuse. I am so intrigued by the concept of Sylar. He has what I think is the most convincing argument for being a villain. He isn't after money or even power in our traditional since. He literally wants power and to be able to do what others cannot. He wants to be special. Who amongst you doesn't truly want to be special?

I'm not saying anyone here would go to those lengths but we'd be surprised. Even you yourself would be surprised as to what you may actually be capable of if you were actually given that opportunity in the REAL world.

Not saying all of us would turn to the dark side, so to speak, but we'd all be astonished by our own actions given a realty like that.

It's hard to pick a favorite on the show since all the actors are top-notch with the job they're doing, but Sylar is definitely one of them.

Funny watching him on that show where he was sitting with all the puppies and being like 'Aww, I like this one!' My dad and I were like 'Save the puppies, he'll take their brains!' firefirefireph

Don't really see his reasonings for doing what he's doing as having a "Convincing Argument." 😬

I mean how many other Villains have we come across in our day in age who wants nothing but POWER?

It's nothing new and Sylar is no different. He's not special. It's part of the "FOLD" as you called it.

Becoming a serial killer isn't all that justifiable from any point of view other than that of the serial killer himself, right? Sylar wants to be special, so he's killing all the other special people and becoming 'more special' by stealing their abilities.

But still, he IS stealing their abilities. In his mission to be 'special,' he's growing more powerful and laughing as he abuses his powers. It's obviously power that he wants, in one form or another.

"This is usually the part where people scream."

Spoiler below.

Has anyone seen the pic of peter and Nikki/Jessica Kissing that is just so wrong. I would post the pic but don't want to spoil things for some people.

Also it seems Linderman=Ozymandius i really wished they would have stayed away from the watchmen route considering a films in the work. What a shame they are taking this route not very original is it.

supreme being your a retard and you post a spoiler with spoiler tags, if you load a page to the last post and happen to look up theres you spoiler.

Wow what a lame fight between Peter and Sylar. I know Peter isn't exactly a seasoned superhero or anything but when he went invisible what the heck was he doing? Trying to sneak out the apartment?

I didn't really enjoy the last episode, but I'm glad the show has started up again.

Yeah, when he went invisible I was like "Oh wow this thing is really heating up." It was really an AWing moment but then it was over like that.

I'd like to know what he exactly intended to do as well. He really had the upper advantage with the whole invisible thing and it was waisted.

They actually changed part of the plot at the last minute, that's why it seemed anticlimatic. Or, atleast, that's what I heard.

He didn't really have any advantage, at all. Sylar could still hear him and whatever move he made.

Now that Sylar and Peter where together longer did he pick up all of Sylars powers as well?

I don't see it that way, remember Sylar can hear a fly fart from 10 miles away and just because Peter can't been seen doesn't mean that he can't be heard.

No, I don't think so. I think Sylar's powers are unnatural, he can't steal them. I wouldn't want Peter to steal them, anyway, since it would make Sylar a no threat basically.

w00t I'm good.

The Powers in which Sylar stole are Powers all the same. Why are they anymore unnatural than any of the other Powers?

But that aside. Sylar's actual ability is the ability to steal other's powers, so wouldn't Peter actually take that ability as well. But wouldn't that be redundant when Peter can basically do that already anyway without actually killing the person and taking their powers away in the process?

Peter is the better version.

Sylar is obsolete.

Anata wa wakarimasu ka.....

this is probably off the subject, but I just about this yesterday. This refers to only children whose parents both have powers, now. It's like evolution sort of, but maybe the children develop powers that fix the flaws of their parents power. For instance, Clara's mom can make fire and Nathan can fly. In case of misuse of power, both could themselves, so maybe that is why Clara can heal herself. For Micah, well Nickie can't really control herself, and his dad might get stuck in a wall or something, so Micah can control stuff. If someone already posted something like this, I apologize.

That makes absolutely no sense whatsoever.

Sylar doesn't have the ability to steal powers, he has the ability to see complex systems and how they work. He eats people's brains and digests their powers, he doesn't just absorb them like Peter. He doesn't do anything that someone else couldn't do. And the reason why I think Peter can't steal all of Sylar's acquired power is due to the fact that its foreign dna that allows Sylar those powers. If Peter came in contact with the telekinetic guy before Sylar killed him, then sure, Peter could have telekinesis. But now? No, in my opinion he can't take Sylars 'powers'.

Edit: All of that is wrong, I had forgotten Peter had already used psychokinesis. So just ignore it; but I'm leaving it up if anyone wants to discuss about how wrong I was.
