But Peter has already used telekinesis... Several times. Therefore he can absorb Sylar's stolen powers.

Yeah, you're right. I was thinking there was another person who had telekinesis. Hm, then wtf? Sylar should be dead already. Wow, Peter sucks....big time. He has such a plot device for a power, but yet he dies like twenty times.

this is probably off the subject, but I just about this yesterday. This refers to only children whose parents both have powers, now. It's like evolution sort of, but maybe the children develop powers that fix the flaws of their parents power. For instance, Clara's mom can make fire and Nathan can fly. In case of misuse of power, both could themselves, so maybe that is why Clara can heal herself. For Micah, well Nickie can't really control herself, and his dad might get stuck in a wall or something, so Micah can control stuff. If someone already posted something like this, I apologize.
Don't worry. No one has ever posted anything like this on here. 😬

Edit: All of that is wrong, I had forgotten Peter had already used psychokinesis. So just ignore it; but I'm leaving it up if anyone wants to discuss about how wrong I was.

Dude, you are so wrong. Also Peter should have Syler's newer powers now, shouldn't he?

Yeah, when he went invisible I was like "Oh wow this thing is really heating up." It was really an AWing moment but then it was over like that.

I'd like to know what he exactly intended to do as well. He really had the upper advantage with the whole invisible thing and it was waisted.

When Peter turned invisible I was thinking the same. I really was expecting a desperate, exciting fight between the two. But Mohinder took Syler out, so stupid.

Who in blue hell is Clara? 🤨

peter vs sylar is one of the biggest let downs / network screw ups in recent tv history. After such a long time off the air that was WEAK!

Hence me saying I was wrong. 🙄

It was like they spent all their money on getting that glass to fly up off the ground then just looked for the easiest way out...

A thought: I don't think Peter can use the powers he doesn't know he's absorbed... That is, he doesn't know what powers Sylar has, other than telekinesis, and thus cannot use them/control them.

[Edit: No, that can't be true... because he was able to heal himself before knowing Claire could do it. So Peter's just an idiot then...]

I'm pretty sure they originally intended for a big fight, but they changed the plot of the story at the last minute, and decided to keep Sylar around.

That wouldn't explain how he knew how to heal, though, back when he feel off the bleachers. I don't remember, did he see Claire heal before that, though? Also, another thing that could make that theory work is that since Claire's power seems to be unconsciously activated, that Peter can unconsciously activate them as well.

That could make sense. I might add the whole thing about Sylar's other powers being detected, but unable to be specified what they were by the Company. They picked up telekinesis, first and foremost, as opposed to Sylar's original power at all.

Also, there's the issue with how Peter uses his borrowed powers. He needs to think of how the person made him feel, right? Well, Sylar makes him feel one way and one way only. There's not 'This is how Telekinetic Sylar makes me feel' and 'This is how Super-hearing Sylar makes me feel.'

Otherwise, Peter would be bombarded with super-hearing, telekinesis, cryokinesis, and Sylar's other powers...all at once.

In any case, Peter's not exactly the violent action man. He could have been trying to dodge the glass and gotten very unlucky as he turned to duck it...but who knows. He was invisible.

Invisible or not Sylar has his super hearing now and could pin point exactly where Peter was from the slightest movement.

If Peter's powers actually function in the way you said then yes he would be bombarded with all of those powers, which obviously isn't the case in the show.

If it is the second way you described with him having to feel seperate feelings then he actually wouldn't be bombarded with a bunch of powers b/c he'd be thinking of each on seperately. One at a time. Instead of feeling just one feeling of how sylar makes him feel which would bring all of them on. Keep in mind this is going by what you said.

I'm not agreeing or disagreeing with any of your theories.

Just entertaining them. 😉

The point of me saying he was invisible was that WE don't know what he was doing. Sylar does, sure, but we're not Sylar. 😛

Hmm, that's a possibility, Peter thinking of how he felt when reacting to Sylar's different powers. Eh, who knows. It might be shown later that Peter actually makes ice sculptures with cryokinesis in his spare time...

I thought it was kinda stupid that when he turned invisible he stayed in front of Sylar and even more so with his back turned. I was expecting him to show up behind Sylar.

My opinion: dodging glass and failing...

It didn't even look as if he was moving though. Just standing still in the same spot.

PETER!!!!!!!!WTF IS WRONG WITH YOU!!!!!!

Anata wa wakarimasu ka.....

I wanna know why the hell he didn't use his telekinesis to reflect all the glass back at Sylar. He'd never see that coming. Bet Sylar still has no idea exactly what Peter's power is.

If he knew Peter would be his one above all target. I bet he'd pretty much drop everything till he caught Peter!

Peter sucks...Nothing should be able to stand in his way anymore, since his power is basically "plot device incarnate".

Well, maybe we get to see a bit more of Peter the Powerful with the next episode.

Spoiler:
Pretty sure I saw him using Hawkins' phasing power. He likely has Niki's as well.
