Okay, so they retconned it back to what Morrison originally wanted?

Well Carey had Beast say Magneto killed Jean in Endangered Species so not sure. But all the X-writers at the moment love Morrison so I don't think they have a problem with fixing the retcon. Fraction did fix S.P.I.C.E. during the Utopia crossover remember Irma Mindee Cuckoo?

I'm going to have to go back and read 20 odd issues of astonishing now... oh well.

mmm

that actually wasn't half bad. Seems this Casali guy knows a thing or two about writing X-Men.

also, it was 6 issues of astonishing. for some reason i thought ellis' run began at #1.

* it's very intriguing... i'd love to know what happens next... 🙂

Is it wrong that I enjoyed Cyclops in the recent Deadpool arc more than I've enjoyed his character through most of Uncanny for the past year...

mmm

not really.

So wait...

Spoiler:
Sentry struggles with The Void constantly, by Cyclops just decides he can imprison it in his mind with no trouble
?

How retarded.

The only reason I bought this series again was because I enjoyed the X-Men in the Utopia cross-over. I remember now why I stopped buying their main books.

no.

Spoiler:
cyclops went into emma's mind to try and help her beat the void, but instead it migrated in to his mind, which had been it's plan the entire time.

or was there a newer issue?

A tiny, tiny, tiny fraction of the Void's power.

That was made clear.

Has it always been like that the main series (not that great) even including the older stuff all the way to when Stan Lee was writing it?.

There weren't multiple X-books when Stan Lee wrote it.

I've personally always felt that way, yes. There are a few classic storylines, but the only ones I enjoyed are Mutant Massacre and X-Tinction Agenda. Days of Future Past is good, though.

-AC

Seems like the only time the main book is good, is when theres a major storyline or crossover.

I think his point is the fact he was able to imprison it.

* it was explained very well... Scott is really the type of person who is very much capable of doing it... and it was only a fraction of Void's power... 😉
