I'm curios on somebody else's point of view about this.
It's been shown that people can actually time travel back to the original Multiverse (Flash is the one that comes to mind) so it hasn't actually been wiped away from existence.
Hypertime is also supportive of this ideas since when inside it, Superman and Diana have seen countless Universes, many of them being Pre-Crisis.
So in short, how big is the DC Universe when seen in perspective ? Isn't it already something bigger than a Multiverse, since it already contains one (the original, infinite one) ?
Originally posted by Erik-LensherrIf DC's definition of a Megaverse is the same as Marvel's -- then there could very well be numerous 'infinite' Multiverses contained within it...

I'm convinced it's a sound theory. 🙂

It seems as though Hypertime's canonicity would make pre-crisis material canon in some way/shape/form..Here's a scan from a Batman comic, [circa 1964]:
======
Now,
the scans from when we first saw Hypertime, back in '99:Take a good look at the bottom right hand corner of the second scan, [outlined in red]...

It's been officially put out continuity by chief-Editiors
and then apparently brought back in by on panel references of it's term (Hypertime),
We have #25 of arc 52 referencing Waverider was "the keeper" of Hypertime,
yet in that Kingdom issue you presented,
Rip Hunter is the actual "keeper" or overseer instead.
Then Rip Hunter literally discovers the 52 Universes,
and calls it "all creation" ... "all of time/space"
when we know he definitely knows about Hypertime. dontgetit
Now we have Rip Hunter in that scan you presented previously,
now claiming that there are infinite realities, not just 52 Universes.
(it may be the Megaverse that was predicted in the last issue of 52 by Rip perhaps)
And I'm sure there's more twist and turns you may know about, jeesh.
Give some perspective brother G, what is going on, what's the story with DC?

Is there any depictions and/or statements,
decribing what Hypertime is now nearly ten years later?
I mean with all the changes/inconsistencies/contridictions revolving around it.It's been officially put out continuity by chief-Editiors

Mxy's also mentioned Hypertime since then, in a Superman title... It's still around.
Originally posted by Mr MasterAll I can say as far as how many Universes currently embody DC, is to go with the 'most current' info.

And currently,
the 'Prime' DCU = a ">" infinite, [ridiculous, I know] number of Worlds/Universes.

On the otherhand,
what does that mean exactly, the "seer" of Hypertime?
It can't be having power over Hypertime,
only one being in DC has that according to Rip.

According to Rip in the Kingdom, Hypertime is "All Reality"
..........................................................................
But then Rip calls the 52 Universes/Dimensions "All of Creation"
..........................................................................
Or again ... "All of Reality" (the 52 Universes/Dimensions)
==============================
Imo, Hypertime sounds like Marvel's Prime Multiverse instead.
Indeed, Rip even calls it that:
..........................................................................
When Rip explains how Hypertime (Multiverse) works,
it is identical to the system used in Marvel's Prime Multiverse:
Interesting.

There are some haters who would twist the on panel statements in your scans,
cause according to them (or him) 😏 "levels of infinity"
do not exist, in the real world or in comics,
yes, although it is clearly stated in your and many, many of my scans,
and yes,
even though it is it also based on a Real World Theorum (Cantor's)
which is intergrated even into Princeton's curriculum as a credited course.
Anywho,
both DC and Marvel now have Realities beyond infinity, unquestionably!
..........................................................................
"An Infinity beyond Infinity"
..........................................................................
Haters can stay in denial,, really, who cares.
