Have you even seen the rest of the Saw movies? Jigsaw gets more and more character development with each movie,we get to see what drove him to become the man that constantly evaluates life, and tests whether or not an individual is worthy of life. I mean seriously,I don't think Jigsaw's motives are *that* hard to understand.Have you ever seen the show Intervention on A&E? Sometimes you just want to smack some sense into the people on that show.Well that's what Jigsaw does, but it's much more than a simple smack. =)
I didn't say this motives are hard to understand. I understand the story just fine. I just said it wasn't a solid story, and the movies were pointless. Test whether individuals are worthy of life? "Um, you faked being sick a few times so you can call into work. Let's put you through an elaborate torture game and see if you try calling in again, you wicked bastard." Sorry, but that doesn't sound like a very effective story.
