they all suck as well. im counting down the days till halo3 with great anticipation, so all the glitch kiddies can go back to their frikin bunny hopping/game hacking paradise and leave rainbow six vegas to the real gamers. you know, the ones who enjoy a challenge as opposed to exploiting flaws and cheating/hacking/bridging. have fun.

I used to hate that in the older RB6... PM your account name, I'm going to buy as Xbox2 soon.

Halo is "the shit" though, regardless of the hacks online.

I love both. Halo is t3h pwn, and Rainbow 6 vegas is t3h rulage.

True, many people have brought themselves up from being extremely poor, but how many of them have been as successful as Oprah? Most end up as middle-class workers who make a comfortable living.

As far as I know, Oprah doesn't mention wars or anything controversial in her talkshows. She talks about domestic problems and how to help people around the world, most notably the hurricane Katrina victims. You may call this being a coward, but I see it as being an intelligent marketer. She would probably lose half her audience as well as huge amounts of publicity if she starts talking about not pulling troops out of Iraq.

Doctors and nurses are paid for their services. It's their job. Most of them do it for the money and couldn't care what happens to their patients after they are paid. The TRUE charity-workers that you mean, I think, are missionaries and volunteers who go to overseas to rebuild war-torn countries.

As far as I've seen, she treats all genders and all races equally. If she does treat whites somewhat poorly, she herself dealt with huge amounts of racism growing up, and she can't be blamed.

Like I've already said, her opinions are simple so they will catch on easier. No one wants to hear something so "deep" that 80% of the population can't figure out. Could you please clarify with me by what you mean by her statements being "generic"?

Oh yeah, gotta keep that in consideration. 😘

I think he came into the lime light during her battle with the mad cow disease or something like that, and had a huge battle on her hands. I didn't know it was related to mad cow until later, at that time, I just thought she had something against the beef industry (a lot of animal rights people do, same with Vic would be the same with the meat industry and the treatment of animals while they are about to be slaughtered, it's really a battle that is more then just her).

I don't watch her show b/c I am not into ANY talk shows, but she doesn't bother me. She did bring some dignity to it, as I always equated talk shows to soap operas, and the story lines.

I never watched her show much, but "all men are guilty until proven innocent"? really? I don't watch soap operas or talk shows, but she did give credibility back to the talk show business.

Somehow, I get the strange feeling the entire world culture is attacking feminism, I wondered before, if this has anything to do with the war in Iraq or maybe a possible female president, something is going on, and it's been encouraged in the past 10 years or so.

I don't have any ill or positive feelings about Oprah, she's just like anyone else in that field.

I think our group mind is coming to something very negative, let's hope I'm wrong, I feel a bad war coming. It's like itching at every aspect of who we are, I can't describe it as a spirit or not, it's just there, and it's world wide, not only in this country.

Sad.

God help us, but according to most on this board, there is no God.

Oprah has refused to support presidential candidates throughout her career, now she is very strongly campaigning for a candidate. Why? What did she have against all the previous candidates? They were white. Obama is black, that is why Oprah is supporting him, no other reason. Oprah only sees skin color. Sure she acts like a decent person, but she only cares about political candidates skin color if it becomes a question of her support.

Why does her choice have to be racist? why can't it be just wanting to see a change in the white house as well as the country? This country has been ran by white people since they settle here. So what if she supports the Black guy to be the next president, is every white person that does not support Obama consider racist? Personally I would prefer to see Obama or Hillary as the next president or even a Latin, Asian, or Indian etc. Change can be a great thing, unless you let racism stand in the way.

There is nothing wrong with a woman or a black person being a president. But as long as they are pro-life and stand for other stuff then yea I would vote for them.
It just seen abit strange for her to go after him. When Alan Keys were running and let go just because he was prolife.Sounds abit like the dems don't let anyone black ran for president if they are not f or abortion.jm 😎

I don't know if she is, or isn't. But, she does go out of her way to take of her kind. It is very evident.

And who cares? She's earned it, and she's trying to bridge the gap for her people. That's how I see it.

Oprah has done more good for people than anyone of this forum has. I don't see where anyone gets off judging her.
