So it's not cut and dry to say that Superman is fast enough to punch BB before he can get a word in.

Well it was my intent for BB to really fight MM, but of course in a fight things like that don't go down. But BB would be smart to not let Superman lay one finger on him. diamond tipped finger to the dome for the win.

That's something that has always puzzled me. Superman can process stuff and visuals at a very high thought speeds. The chemicals which would govern his reflexes would work at extremely high rate. So he would see things and process those visuals at very high speeds...so anything involving muscle movement or transmitting chemical signals around the body would work way faster then any human being).
But isn't conception different from execution?
For example...say we have Superman and a normal human being. Both of them start off with their eyes shut. Both of them are told to conceive the word "dog" when the battle starts. Just conceive it...they don't need to lift a muscle. If both minds were shut down before the battle started..and only switched on at the bell shouldn't superman and the man conceive the word "dog" at the same time?

you obviously dont' know what the hell you are talking about. Doomsday moved so fast that the jet fighters couldn't follow him. He moved so fast superman and flash have commented on his speed. Obviously, you have chosen not to purchase any books with doomsday in them.
