((They can't do anything to Ben. He plays a HUGE role in the sequel. I mean like if he's not in it than there is no reason to even make it. He's that important to the story. He basically organizes these creatures farther than we could imagine.))
Jacob gathered his tattered supplies and stood next to Ben. "We should go."
((Just to speed things up a little so we can be ready.))
Jacob and the others all set off, following closely behind Ben. None of them let their guards down, but not do anything too rational. As long as they kept Ben safe from the soldiers outside of the dome, he would keep the creatures off their backs. Ben hjad control over most of the lesser creatures that approuch and could usually staveo off brutes without a problem. The only thing to worry about were other Amalgamators and the unseen 'Brain Bug'. ((We fight one just before escaping)) It was going to be a tough fight, but it would set them free from this hellish nightmare.
"Permission to move out General?"
"Permission granted." Came over the com. "Good luck Commander Jackson."
"Thank-you, sir." At that moment shells began to rain down at the foot of the domed shield fense as the Brutes broke through. The northern side was being assualted and the Commanders job was to retrieve Lieutenant Jacob and Lieutenant Mirez from the hot-zone, along with any survivors.
The twenty marines in the 101st company division Alpha, all ran forward, seeming almost suicide, but were not in the least as the morter shells exploded is firery brilliance that sent the infected flying into pieces.
"GO GO GO GO!!!!" Jackson shouted and joined the mad rush, weapons fire lit the night tinme ground with tracer bullets as the troops approached the opening.
The brutes exploded into brilliance that only flared up brighter than day momentarily. "Lieutenant Heston! Take the right flank, draw them away from the fence!!" He shouted. He led his men straight for the opening as the Lieutenant distracted the remaining brutes.
The shelling continued well into the compound...

Poomf poomf poomf poomf, could be heard by the gathering within the labs. "Uh.. I'm recieving a signal. Its a homing beacon, it is carrying a repeating message, I dont have the equipmant to clear the static. I'm also hearing the sound of shelling. Jacob?"

The shells exploded against buildings, causing theim to collapse and erupt in flame. The smoke trailed across the city scape and continued for several hundred meters into the air. fifteen troops swarmed the expanse, taking down the infected. This was not retrieval, this was a clean up. (Dont, worry they'll all die horribly lol)
The group had been walking for close to an hour now, and had faced very little resistance on their way to the escape. Now, Jacob and Ben were walking out of earshot of the others and were conversing back and forth. "Why did you choose us to help you?" Ben sighed and looked ahead. "Because A, I know who you are, B, I knew you wouldn't fire." Jacob looked down at the ground and pulled the hammer of his weapon back. "We may have a fire-fight on our hands when we get out of here." When they finally reached the exit, the others walked past Ben and Jacob and started to work to open the door. A rumbling started to shake the building, and an Brain Bug tore through the Aft wall, seperating them from them from the others. The true creatures started to emerge from it's sides.
the safety clicked off. 4 bullets went flyng. 4 of the six amalgatar got 50 calliber sniper rifle bullets in their skulls. "run!" he pulled out his assault rifle and fired on leapers." carlos pass me a frag!"david caught the frag. 10 leapers piled on top of him,"go, now!"soon more leapers were piled on him.at least 20. a frag explode killing him, all of the leapers, and another amalgator. his flashbang rolled under the brain bug and his white phosphourous flew towards the 6th amalgator.

Rek leaped forward, bringing his rifle to bear on the first two alamagators. The brain bug roared as the phosphourous erupted in burning liquid that covered the underside of the (Starship Troopers reference? What does it look like?) Brain-bug. As Lieutenant Mirez squeezed the trigger and released a burst of several rounds at the alamagators. One was killed instantly by a head-shot. The other grabbed Rek's wrist and twisted his body around, using a clawed hand, knocking the rifle out of his grasp.
Poomf poomf poomf...
As Rek twisted he brought his left arm around and shifted his weight, to lean against the alamagator, in one two three steps his shoulder connected with the creatures jaw. Knocking the Agator' back and away from him. He retrieved his rifle and activated his com while tackling a leaper from Kat's back with a body slam. He toggled Jacob's private channel. "Not that this is a bad time..." He shot the leaper through the skull. "...but, what did they mean, 'you are one of us' meaning them." He hit a zombie from behind with the butt of his rifle.
The door leading out slowly opened, but only enough for one person to cross through at a time. With a loud screaching noise, the door froze and would not open further. "I was infected a couple of hours ago, in a tussle with an Amalgamator. Leave with out me, and don't let them forget me!" Jacob opened fire on any thing that was around him and tried to buy enough time for the others to slip through the door. The now dying brain-bug was creating a sort of blockade that would not allow anything to pass without crawling over it. "I'll be right behind you guys! I just have to make sure nothing follows us through here!"
((It's a large worm-like creature that can produce certain forms.))
"I am the only superior that is in any condition to be leading this squad and I am ordering you to get out of here! I'll be right behind you! It won't take more than a minute!" Jacob was firing as many rounds as he could into the surrounding creatures. He would not be able to successfully plant the charges with the other still in there.
((hoping this isnt a bad time but my white phosphourous went towards an amalgator. the flashbang went towards the brain bug.))
carlos went after the others. he went through the door. his training was to follow the orders of a superior, no matter what the consequences were. he sat against the outside of the door and started mourning for jacob.
Rek turned. "Great.. No! Jacobs right! Direct orders from me. GO! NOW!" He conutinued his turn and lashed out with a foot, catching the Agator' he had knocked down, in the mouth. The Agator' fell again. Mirez levelled his rifle and pulled the trigger. "I'll be right behind you! Go! I'll make sure Jacob gets out!" Private channel to Jacob. "Jacob! Agree with me for their sake, they are good soldiers. It's the only way they'll go." He spun to the two. "Well."
