Rek caught them and nodded. He had seen the alamagator approach, alone, there seemed to be little hostility in this ones eyes. Rek ventured to speak. "As far as I know, all we've done is defend ourselves." He stepped to Book's side. "We dont really want to become one of you. Nothing, uh, personal, but you must understand... Right guys?"

The alamagator seemed t consider this.... (Jacob, you can do the dialogue)

Jacob stared at the Amalgamator and it looked at Rek. "Do you not see!? We are like Gods! We are the new age. We are the RACE!" Just now we are escaping thr-" A bullet tore through it's head and it fell flat to the ground. What looked like another Amalgamator, wearing combat armor and holding a sniper rifle was staring at the others.

"Shit!" Rek raised his rifle, didnt fire but waited. "What the, you kill your own too?!!" He called out to the new one.

Frank saw the chopper slam into the ground and he ran over to it as it burned, he leapt onto the burning wreakage and moved to pull out the single occupant...

Kat jumped at the sound of the rifle. She spun and raised h er own. "What the hell?! Where did he come from? I didn't hear him." She turned on her laser scope and aimed at the new comer.

Jacob's jaw was clinched tightly for a long while, but only watched the new figure. "It's Ben. He was keeping that one from revealing how they planned to escape.. lucky bastard remembered his training."

davids rifle sniper rifle lined up perfectly with the amalgatars head."you sure its him, jacob?"

Jacob chuckled a bit. "Trust me. He's holding us hostage at this point. I get it all now. The brute didn't kill us because Ben over there needs us as much as we need him." JAcob sat down slightly. "He will show us a way out of here if we escort him out..."

Kat lowered her gun and sighed heavily. "So are we going to?... Or are we going to stay here and die?" She glanced at the amal. once known as Ben. She didn't trust him, but who could? All she wanted to do right now was get out of here. And once they were out, she'd blow that thing's head off.

david paused, then lowered his rifle."are you sure he wont just kill us when we get him out safely?"

"He won't kill any of you... he'll be too busy trying to infect me. I'll buy you guys enough time to run while he fights with me. If worst comes to worst, I'll take myself out with a grenade."

Kat's eyes widened. "What? Hell no! I'm not leaving you here with that! You're coming with us. He's going to show us the way out, right? There is no way or reason for us to leave you here!"

Jacob lifter up his visor to reveal that his eyes had changed to more of an amber color. "You really think that our own kind is going to accept me back? They'll quaranteen me and perform tests 'looking for a cure' all without my permission as well."

She shook her head and took a step towards him. "I won't let them damn it. I've known this whole time and hey I couldn't care less what you are. The point is you're still you and damn it you're going to get out of this place alive like the rest of us."

"I guess we'll move out when everyone is ready. He'll keep the 'Race' off of us if we keep the soldiers off of him...."

'Ben' started to slowly walk towards them. "Du wee hovv a deeyal?" Jacob looked up at him. "What happened to your voice?" He held up one finger and used his other hand to remove a bullet from his neck. "This better?" Jacob semi-sighed and rose to his feet. "Try anything and I will put you down myself."

Frank hauled the body of the alamagator out of the chopper and was shocked when the 'human' tried to assualt him.

Rek moved forward. "I'm staying Jacob!" He smiled, "with you all the way."

"So where is this exit?" ben just stared. "Smart as I remember." Ben finally responded. "You knew I would not tell you."

Kat turned the safty on each of her guns on. "Well if you're not going to tell us... Then show us... We trust you if you trust us. That way no one dies and we all get out of her alive... Ok?" She smiled and looked around at everyone else. Her look also said that everyone else better turn the safty on or else they wouldn't get anywhere with this guy...or thing.. or what ever you wanted to call him.

david turned his safety on but kept his hand near the button just in case. carlos did the same.
