As Rek get closer to the Zombies he could hear their chilling groans, giving him goosebumps. "No grenades. Just trust me!" He called back to Gotham as he covered Rek. Rek fired occasionally at the zombies but he tried to conserve some ammo. He got as close as he could metally will himself to them and reached into his explosive pack slung on his shouder. He took out the smallest C4 charge 'I hope this works.' He thought. He set the timer to five seconds and prepared to activate it an run. The zombies got closer and closer. Gotham stopped firing Rek didn't look to find out why and mentally began counting down from ten. The zombies began reaching out for him, their groaning and movements chilled Rek to his soul. He closed his eyes and clutched the explosive tightly. At three he activated the delay timer. At two he threw it. At one he ran. At zero he dived to the flor, scraping his armour and sliding along as the hallway was baved in a violent orange glow. Then the shock wave and ear bursting sound carried Reks body all the way up to Gothams armoured feet. The vibrations could be felt by all in the complex.

Jacob watched on as Ben fiddled with a a package in his gear. "Is that what I think it is?" Ben grinned very proudly and shook his head. "You know it. We made that pact to do this when zombies attacked." JAcob just nodded his head and Chew just watched in anticipation. Ben turned to the control system and tapped into the main speakers. -Speakers- "Warning unauthroized entry into the main speaker sys-" The speakers crackeld for a moment before a odd noise started to play through. Jacob instantly knew what it was, it played in his mind. It was the song Not falling by Mudvayne. Just as the Cd went into play the whole building shook. "What the fu-" Ben looked at moniter. "Looks like your friends can handle themselves."

Gotham helped Rek up. Rekko smiled as he glanced at his handywork. "Nice." He activated his comm. "Attention Hazmats Delta and Alpha. This is Alpha team leader. We just redecorated the lower labs. The lift area is clear on this floor. Ha haa! Take that you brainless, moaning, b******s! Hoo haa! Wooo! I'll tell you one thing. I've never been so f***ing s***less in my entire life!" He paused to check his suit. It was intact except for a light spattering of blood and some scrapes. Nothing to worry about. "The armory is near here. Lt Book do you know the location?" Rek could hear some cheers through the hiss of his comm. 'Damn.' He thought. Smiling, he looked at Gotham.

Jacob clicked his radio. "Lt. Rek, the Armory is two floors up from your position, one from mine. Should we make that a rendevous point?" Grunts could be heard from the three soldiers trying to force the door to stay shut from the many zombies trying to open it.

." "Lt. Rek, the Armory is two floors up from your position, one from mine. Should we make that a rendevous point?" ". Rek could hear grunts crackle through his suits speaker. "Sounds like a plan." Rek spoke quickly. "We created a gaping hole where a hallway floor should be so we can't get back by freight elevator B. Any ideas, I didn't get a full breif on the complex when I arrived where are the other elevators or even stairwells?." He paused. "What does the situation look like?" He asked as both he and Gotham moved through the lower labs.

((Is music playing throughout the entire complex?))

((Yes.))

Jacob thought for a moment. "From your last projected position, I believe there is a staircase about.. thity or forty yards from your posted position." More grunts could be heard and then the door could be heard bending open. Two sounds of gunfire could be heard before all transmissions stopped from their positions. Jacob and Ben made a mad dash for the ladder while Chew stayed at the door. "Chew! Come on, we can't stay here!" Chew pulled a small HE grenade from his bag and motioned for the two to keep moving. "Sorry I won't be able to make it to the bar you two were going to invite me to..." Jacob and Ben reluctantly made there way up the ladder and halfway up Ben placed a DetPack on the wall for thirty seconds. "Goodbye old friend..." A earsplitting explosion sounded and the ladder was covered in debris from the bottom. Ben then clicked armed and finally pulled himself up the remaining rungs and closed the door. After pressure cealing the door the explosion took out all traces of the ladder, so the two kept moving to where the nearest stairwell was.

The PA system was playing music when it suddenly burst into static then whined before going silent. "This way." Rek motioned Gotham through the door to their right and stumbled straight into four zombies. The lights flickered. There wasn't even time to aim. Botham and Rek fired blindly until their clips ran out, and Gotham bashed the last one between its collar bone and its jaw with his metal hand. Effectively snapping the head off. "Up." Loran breathed. As they ran up he hoped the rest of Delta and Alpha's Reynard was alright. He reloaded his pistol with another clip. 'One left.' He thought. 'Hope we dont run into something big.' He tapped his comm. "Lt Book repeat your last..." He shuddered. "...transmission. It was garbled then it cut off."

((Am i doing ok? Again this is my first RP!))

((Am i doing ok? Again this is my first RP!))
"Repeat your last transmission over."

Jacob tapped his comm as well as he could during a small fight that insued during the small bout of radio silence. "We.. are taking... heav.. ire.. rom .. sides.. don't come.. r us.. get.. out whi.. ou can! Ove-" The transmission cuts out and Book's transponder blinks to offline, automatically listing him as KIA. As soon as the transmission cut out, Jacob and Ben tore ass towards a secondary security checkpoint and ducked inside at the last moment. The room was empty and relatively hard to notice so they both decided to lay low while attempting to fix the armor's comm.

Rek cleared as much distortion as he could from the transmission before it cut out. Almost immediaty Books transponder cut out. Rek and Gotham reached the second floor. Breathing heavily he tried to figure out the situation. Rek refused to believe that Book was KIA. 'No.' He thought. Gotham remained silent. "Lt. Book do you read over. Dammit! No! Book is MIA until I persnally prove it. He was a good man, too smart to get killed by-" Gothams hand was on his shoulder. "Rek stopped at the door to the hallway. "I know he's still alive Gotham. Even im not that stupid. Once we reach the armory I'm heading for his last transponder location. You can head back to the others with the weapons. The need you more than i do..." Rek wanted to exploded into action but remained in control through dicipline. "Hes dead, if hes dead, because I distracted him with the communications. Sh**!" Rek punched the wall leaving a slight imprint.

Jacob was leaning back against the wall watching a single security moniter when he started to laugh. Ben looked over at him and just chuckled. "What's so funny?" Jacob looked over with a look of calm on his face. "Somehow, someway.. I know Daniel will show up and **** up this situation a million times worse." Ben burst into laughter remembering their friend. "Hey, he wasn't all bad." Jacob was looking for a comeback and sided with a perfect one. "Hmm.. does seven hundred bucks ring any bells." Ben was now on the floor laughing. "Ok, point taken." Jacob pulled the stock of his pistol back and released it, pushing a bullet into the chamber. "What do you say we go have time at the bar?" Ben stood up and looked pumped, hell he always looked pumped. "YEA BOY!" They both knocked their blunt weapons--Jacob using a small guard's club and Ben using his issued machette--together and both of them exited the room, to an empty hallway.

((Still radio silence and listed as KIA))

As Rek exited the stairwell Gotham shoved him back. There were, he realised, about thirty zombies wondering in the hall. In his freaked-out state he hadn't noticed. Nodding thanks he checked his ammo. "Nine bullets and one extra clip. You?" Rek was fully prepared to run out and go awol. Which included the butt of his pistol.

((Physco or crazy))

Jacob took in a deep breath and spun into a corridor adjacent from the one, he and Ben had just been hiding in. The coast seemed clear for the most part but, Jacob could still here deep breathing from time to time. Though he knew that they were dead, it was still quite unnerving. Ben removed another CD from his pack and placed it into a side panel computer. The song Chop Suey started to play through the speakers lie before, just different music. "Let's do this." Jacob nodded. "Hey, overhere! Come get us you dead freaks!" Jacob unloaded a round into the ceiling.

"About 15." Gotham said, reloading. Then, he pulled up his mechanical arm. "I can smash some of their skulls in, if we thin out their numbers some. It'll save ammo." He fired off a single bullet at a zombie's neck.

As Jacob and Ben both waited for the inevitable surge of zombies to come pouring through the fallway, they were dissapointed and jolted to the core to hear a loud roar from far off in another corridor. "We're screwed with a capital F!" Jacob just looked at Ben and raised his weapon. "Stow it Sapp..." They both started to inch their way back towards one of the security rooms but found it increasingly hard to stay calm as a second roar came, this time from just down the hall. The ground started to shake just a little as the creature approuched. It was close to nine feet tall and seemed to be caoted in some kind of polymer that protected it.

"Fifteen. S***!" Rek fired a few rounds into the hallway dropping another. "I got sixteen bullets all-together. Heh." Rek activated his comm. "Team Delta..." He paused. What could he tell them 'Your leader is MIA and listed as KIA.' Rek didn't know. "Your..." Reks comm suddenly whined and burst into static. "Damn interference." The zombies began to converge on them both.

Rek fired dropping another as they formulted a game plan. Then Rek heard the roar. And was sure it came from the stairwell that continued up. No. Not heard. Felt the roar, as it vibrated the air. Creating the feeling of sound. "Did you feel that?" Rek was now fully back in control of himself and glanced up the stairwell into darkness. Nothing there. Then fired another round, gaining a headshot. 'What the f*** was that.' He thought to himself. A faint noise... Then he realised; gunshots. He definately just heard gunshots. And not his or Gothams. He glanced at his companion for his opinion.

"There's something down there, at Delta's location. By the sounds of things, it isn't good. I'm going to head back to the armory and grab a better weapon. This pistol isn't doing much. You go ahead, take the stairs down to where Delta squad is, and I'll meet you when I have better arms." Gotham turned around, stepping around a corner and down the hallway.
