No it was canon, and no that is a fact. I even gave the issue number where it's from. So ignoring on-panel evidence again eh? Bravo. No, after their initial fight Ranark stated Sasqatch was stronger then Thing. Also during the initial fight Thing stated Walter was stronger and that was pre-Tanaraq knowledge. He HAS UNLIMITED STRENGTH THANKS TO TANARAQ.

I did read the comic, and even during Weapon X in some issues Sabretooth claws were colored black. Does that mean he didn't have adaminitum? no. Uuuuh..Thing and Ranark has stated Sasquatch was stronger.
