Empiror in ESB

Started by General G4 pages

He looked creepy all the time, it didn't make much difference to me.

the first one is more hunting

Haunting I suppose.

Hunting makes little sense.

I wouldn't say haunting is a good word for it either though...

Nah I saw that too, Cool Movies, they were the '97 SE versions...
(so many annoying things in that, Jedi Rocks, Monkey Emporer, Crap Jabba in ANH etc)

ITV should show the DVD version instead.

Or the OOT.

Yep. I'd make the time for that. 🙂

Ok in ESB (cinema version ) a woman played the empror later it was changed to a man ! can someoe tell me why ?

Found this on IMDB

Who plays the Emperor in this movie

That depends on which version you watch. The 2004 DVD release has Emperor Palpatine played by Ian McDiarmid. These replacement shots were filmed during the production of Episode III (REVENGE OF THE SITH). In the original 1980 version, however (as well as the 1997 "Special Edition"😉, the Emperor was played by an uncredited older woman and voiced by British actor Clive Revill. To make the character appear stranger and more unsettling, a chimpanzee's eyes were superimposed over the actress's face by ILM effects crew

Sounds about right.

Hehe, I knew about that.

Yeah, sure.

You don't believe me?

Never trust a droid.

Why? They can't lie.

They can be programmed in any way. They'd never know if they'd be lying.

But others would know.

I know... you're lying.

And yet I am not, so maybe you are the weird driod who doesn't know when they are lying.

And if I were a mod, you would never leave unopposed, you and your closing of threads!!

I am not a driod.

Then you must be a droid then, either a driod or a droid.
