Jenova is just a body dude. A puppet in Sephiroth's hands, and is connected to him(because of the J-cells in his DNA). And considering the fact that A) he was controlling her body(and is the ONLY ONE that can do that) B) it had his appearance C) it had his voice D) it had his personality, and E) it had his same objectives, memories, etc. How can you say it wasn't Sephiroth? I'm not talking about his body, but the character itself. In the game, Jenova is Sephiroth, her body is being possesed/controlled by him.

Human Sephiroth and Jenova Sephiroth are different bodies, but with the same mind. His mind.

This is why I said he have her powers, during a time in the game. And if they are his powers(even if he had them for a little time in the game, and AC), why not talk about them in his respect thread? [/B]

My good job was not about the "powers" crap. it was about his explanation of Sephiroth doing everything, and it not just being Jenova.

It is Jenova's powers, not Seph's, that was my whole point.

But Sephiroth using Jenova's body, is still Sephiroth. He is just using another body.
For example, you fight Sigma in Megaman X many times, and he is allways using different bodies. But you are fighting against him. The same for Sephiroth. He have two bodies in FFVII, but it's still him.

And in other threads where I said Seph can use the powers he used Jenova's body for, is because I was talking about AC Sephiroth. In the movie he is using Jenova's body(or what was left of it).

Just a little note here. What I said about Sephiroth's regeneration, applies to his intangibility, illusions, and all the other powers he used during the first half of FFVII and the end of AC.

And before any FFVII noob(like little Nikkolas, for example) says "It was Jenova, not Sephiroth!!!111", I ask you to read my last 3 posts in this thread.

PS: Sephiroth(in the first half of FFVII and end of AC) can read minds too.

That's the description of the Black Materia's power, from the UOG. Now, remember that Sephiroth absorbed the Materia(we can even see it attached to Safer Sephiroth's wing), and that means it's part of himself now, exactly like all the Lifestream he absorbed during 5.

Also another thing, people think he doesn't demonstrate any speed in the movie AC, but he actually does, people just dont notice this part:

at 2:00 after knocking Cloud into the distant building, he warps to the entrance of it in about a single frame, then he slows down.

How is that warping? Sephiroth isn't slow but he's not as fast as you make him sound.

Because he moved at such a fast speed and slowed down which makes him look like he warped, how isnt that fast? Look at the distance he covered instantly.

For some reason I just noticed these posts from like a year ago, just thought i'd clear it up.

But yeah, SHM was 100% right here, Jenova is infact dead, and Sephiroth is the new Jenova, with her powers. His will took over and he is now the viral core of the entity itself.

Sephiroth being the entity Jenova itself:
