You only lose by BFR if you can't return under your own power within a reasonable amount of time. Since GL's can use their rings to teleport, they'd be able to teleport back. That's why BFR is a hard option to utilize against guys like Surfer and GL...

it means banished from realm right? maybe i have it wrong.

You do.

Battlefield Removal.

It's when an opponent is removed from the battlefield, and cannot return under their own power.

If we're in a boxing ring, and I throw you out, you can walk right back in, no?

If the Hulk throws Wolverine into another state, Wolverine can hop on a bus and go right back (he's actually done this before... 😆 ).

If the Sentry throws Wolverine into the sun, though, Wolverine can't return under his own power.

If Doctor Strange banishes Wolverine to Shuma Gorath's dimension, he can't return under his own power.

A Green Lantern, however, can transverse dimensions with the utmost of ease. There is nowhere that Thanos could 'remove' him to, in order to prevent him from returning.

Looks like we identified the problem. Nothing good comes from you thinking.

Except for the green lanterns ability to warp, control, and nullify any fields in the vicinity.

this field held thor with the power gem so its safe to say it holds a lantern.

No it isn't. 🙂.

ABC logic doesn't work in such an instance.

Thor couldn't break free from the field, but a Green Lantern doesn't need to. He can merely nullify it.

There's a slight difference there quan. Thor's mind was still functioning(which is why he was able to combat everyone on the astrial plane) so GL's will be too. GL's don't have to do anything like swing a hammer to teleport, all they have to do is THINK about it. That means that GL's could use their ring to teleport out of the block.

That too.

Or simply nullify it. 🙂.

Well, Thanos can't BFR or containment block them. He can punch of blast them....

Interesting. What does Thanos do to win now, Quanchi?

Explain to us all exactly what Thanos can do to beat them.
