he did have help. here the way i honestly see it.

i know doomsday would wreck him physically but the reason superman has always won or avoided defeat is becuz of his mind.

thats what has always separated him from doomsday. doomsday is an unrelenting monster but superman thinks and wins.

Wonder what'll happen though if he fought against Doomsday that fought against Gog for a hundred years. While Doomsday isn't a genius he is able to think and he doesn't seem to be afraid of Superman like Doomsday Rex was. He's lost the only edge he had against the mindless beast.

and lets not forget about the steps just making darkseid look like a fool.

i have never seen a fictional god fall down steps before.
