Haven't battled against many other people from here yet, though, and I don't even have a team together yet either, so lol.
I'd like to battle and stuff online but I feel like I'm going to get my ass whooped because I don't play with the overpowered types. I tend to play with what I like and ignore their tier ranking.
Though I have my Vivillon finished thanks in large part to Scenario.

I have Y and beat it, go to your home screen on the DS. Look up at the top and click the square smiley face, go to your own profile and look at the top screen for your own friend code.
Thanks, man. I'll be back with codes soon.
I laughed when I saw this and it made me so happy, good to know he's still the same douche we know and love xD.

Edit: *sigh* If only he could learn Autotomize. That would make up for his speed IMO.
I think you've just got the wrong mindset. Typically, Pokemon should focus more on taking advantage of their strengths rather than covering for their weaknesses. Covering the weaknesses are what their teammates are for. That's how you build a team. Find the right Pokemon that can cover for the others' weaknesses by virtue of playing to their own strengths.

Why the hell did GameFreak have to make Mega Gyarados a water/dark type while having Bite be the only good dark-type move for it to have (since Dark Pulse is special, and Gyarados's sp attack is lackluster) ? Do like how the ability of its megaform makes it able to hit Pokemon with levitate with ground moves like Earthquake, however.Could've probably used some better physical water attacks as well though besides Waterfall and Aqua Tail.
Gyarados never needed any more help to begin with. He's a tank that got Dragon Dance with stats that don't making using it a waste of time.

You can damn near always outplay your opponent, top tier Pokemon or not. You could always use a battle simulator to practice or experiment with new teams and strategies, or at least use it for more battling to learn other people's strategies. The better you know the game the better you'll be by extension.
I recommend Pokemon Online if you're looking to battle with a sim. It's populated since Smogon made it their official battle sim for tournaments.

I've got that. You can't really cover weaknesses for him since he can't learn counters for Ground and Fire. I get that the team is there to help, hence my planned lineup. I just want to make sure no one falls behind. That's all.
I'm also still trying to plan movesets for Weavile and Kabutops as well.
