Bungie and Master Chief give us in-game proof that John's armor can withstand massive damage. How?

The Chief jumped off the Prophet of Truth's ship and landed on his flat ass. Quite a jump might I add.

EDITED- One thing, though. Where was it ever stated that the CHief jumped out of the Prophets ship? Halo 3 did not start right after Halo 2 ended.

I dunno. I haven't read Halo 3: Uprising(marvel comic explaining the events between both games) I just assumed it was since MC was on board that ship when Halo 2 ended, so I dunno.

Blax said they could be pre-rendered. I don't see why Bungie would make pre-rendered images of in-game Halo 3 pics. It's on the 360 after all.

The in-game pics of Halo 2 in Gamespot aren't pre-rendered, so, I don't believe the ones for Halo 3 are.

Those ain't pre-rendered. The game actually looks that good. I've been toying around with the saved films and I can honestly say the game is impressive. The ammount of detail is astonishing.

And you're tv is a standard one, right? I find it funny that Alpha Centauri posted a pair of shit pics of Halo 3 to explain why the ones I posted weren't real in-game shots.

Yeah. I have a standard TV that runs it on enhanced definition. However I have played the game on 720p and 1080i/p and the game is beautiful. Heck it looks great on a regular tv.

Wrongo. There's a comic book that Marvel's making that shows that Halo 3 starts like a week after halo 2.
