Where did he mentally teleport? Runner was just using his speed in this fight. Thanos was right there in front of him so there was no need for any teleportation.

Thanos said that the gem enabled him to sometimes reach a destination before he was even headed for it (mental teleportation). This was not the case in this fight because Runner was under full control during the speed blitzing. Runner was blitzing Thanos with his own speed, not teleporting.

It doesn't matter whos faster between Runner and SBP. Both could blitz him to death.
