Especially considering that you admit that, I fail to see how you can argue that the story retconed ANYTHING.

The Avatars can be defeated. Darkseid can be defeated.

Darkseid was defeated. He made no mention of avatars.

I never said he used them frequently. As i made apoint earlier in mentioning that he hadn't had that many defeats.

No. I'm thinking up until that point, was the purpose of the story. Not talking about anything after that point. and I'm also taking about the fact that he dislikes to use them becuz they can be defeated on the physical plain. Up until that point. not arguing anything AFTER that point about the avatars. the current story is taking care of that.

I dont' buy your theory either. Especially since the reason behind not like the avatars is that they are signifigantly weaker than the true form. We both only have theories. If it was only my opinoin where did I get it from? becuz I certainly didn't even know about the avatars or desaad retcons. Ooops. bet you didn't know that. I actually learned of them from other forum posters. So I guess it's not only my opinion. And it's my opinion that matters to me. never forget that.
