That was, again, to point out a logical inconsistency.
You can't prove that one character is absolutely stronger than another unless there has been a direct comparison between the two, or one has succeeded at a feat that the other has failed at.
Which weighed more - half of eternity, or the Midgard Serpent?
Wonder Woman fans would say that half of eternity was heavier. Thor fans will assert that the Midgard Serpent HAD to weigh as much as the Earth. Wonder Woman fans will assert that it couldn't. Thor fans will assert that....
Likewise, Wonder Woman's never tried to lift the Midgard Serpent, so who says she'd fail? Thor's never tried to lift eternity, so who says he'd fail?
Similarly, Aunt May has never tried to move celestial bodies, go toe to toe with the Hulk or Superman, she's never attempted any of these feats - so who is to say that SHE would fail?
You can't absolutely prove that Wonder Woman is stronger or weaker than Thor, in the same fashion that you cannot absolutely prove that Thor is stronger or weaker than Aunt May.
It's a parallel argument, a counter example, which exposes a logical inconsistency in someone's 'challenge.'
