Mass Effect

i did the pilgrimage chicks quest thing, you find something for her on a side quest. you just have to keep going back to her to talk after every mission. same with the other guys, they all have side quests or at least something to say after every mission.

i saved wrex too, i shoulda let him die though, i never used him.

What did she end up doing or saying. She was always interesting to me anyway. Like I aways wanted to see her flotilla/migrant fleet. I'm not gonna play the game anymore so im not gonna find out for myself. The games gone this tues for Turok.

So what happened with her?

she doesnt really say anything. She thanks you and reassures you that she will stay with you until the matters at hand have been resolved

They are supposed to be similar to humans in appearance so I would like to see what her species looks like.

I thought the Quarran could of been a bit more fleshed out with the story.

Ah well, cant have everything.

New downloadable content from IGN.

February 6, 2008 - BioWare and Microsoft sent out word today to announce the first set of Mass Effect downloadable content. The pack, called Bring Down the Sky, is set to release on March 10 at 2AM PST for 400 Microsoft Points (US $5). This is the first in a series of upcoming downloadable content planned for the game that Microsoft claims 1.6 million people have picked up.

The Bring Down the Sky download will introduce a new uncharted world and features the alien race of the Batarians. An extremist group has hijacked an asteroid station in the Asgard system and put it on a collision course with the colony world Terran Nova. It's up to Commander Shepard to save the innocent civilians. The download is estimated to last roughly 90 minutes and adds a new 50 point Achievement.

Batarians!!! Yey, playing such a big part in the novel I was pretty disappointed not seeing them ingame.

Paying for a patch? Outrageous.

Or is more content?

For a PC gamer, that would never happen, buts its not an patch though.

It adds content, but only 90min, which in my opinion qualifies as a patch, if it was something that added another 10-15 hours, then it would have been an expansion pack.

Its not a patch, and its not an expansion, its just added content, and it sure beats the hell out of the first few Oblivion downloads. And its only 5 bucks. lol

But a patch fixes bugs and other problems after release.

This isnt fixing anything, its adding new content. So Ast is right, its just added content. I wouldnt buy it but its not a patch.

Patches don't just fix stuff, they very often add things to the game.

Still, downloadable content on a console is new for me, so I guess it won't be as good support as on PCs.

They sometimes do, but the pretty much just fix things.

Personally, I think that the Batarians will have a more important part in the future games... Can't wait for Mass Effect: Ascention.

I already beat it twice, and I just picked it up to burn a few minutes Saturday. I PLAYED THE ENTIRE WEEKEND!!! Im anxiously waiting to get off work to play some more, and im already thinking ahead to my 4th playthrough. 😑

I was done with this game, I beat it twice and put it away, now im sucked in again. DAMMIT. 🙄
